Avon Calling for Oxford House Sober Living

Do you remember the days when the doorbell rang, and when you went to the door there was a very nicly dressed lady, in her dress and gloves, with her case of wonderful products. Oh, wait a minute, you had to remember Ozzie and Harriot to remember this. In today's world, we've all gone high tech, including yours truly. I decided the other day to become an Avon Lady. You probably won't see me in a dress and gloves, but I will still be coming to a door near you, or across the world thanks to the WWW. I suppose there are a gazillion Avon Ladies in any given locale, but I want to use this well known product to another end. I not only want to bring quality, affordable products to the masses, but I want to use my profits for the good of a select group of the population. Any who know me know of the heartbreak I have suffered having a duel diagnosis child. If you don't know what that is, it means a person has both a mental illness and a drug addiction. Nothing in life can prepare you for what you will see, hear, or endure as a parent with a child like this. But back to my mission.... In the quest to find solutions to the problems a child like mine faces, I came across a wonderful organization, Oxford House. (www.oxfordhouse.org ) Oxford House is a non-profit, democratically run, self-supporting, drug free group home for those in recovery from drugs and alcohol. Without Oxford House I don't know that my child would have been successful at recovery. Oxford House was a God send. All money I earn by selling Avon will go directly into an account I set up to help support the Forest Lane Oxford House in Richardson, Texas. If interested in getting great stuff and helping great people who are helping themselves, please visit my website http://www.youravon.com/mwatrous .
